What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are received on the user’s device from the website being visited and are used to record certain browsing interactions on a website by storing data that may subsequently be updated and retrieved. These files are stored on the user’s computer and contain anonymous data that is not harmful to their device. They are used to remember user preferences, such as the selected language, access details or page customisation settings. Cookies may also be used to record anonymous information about how a visitor uses a website. For example, the website from which they accessed it or whether they used an advertising banner to reach the site.
